Lovable rogue Fergus has been fined by the Elections Group for misconduct. An email was sent on his behalf to Rugby Club members advocating his candidacy. Eric can only presume that this is a cockup by Oliver Vaughan (who sent the email) who can't have realised this is in fact against campaign regulations. This is the second fine Fergus has received.
Campaign regulations are in themselves a farce, Fergus should never have been fined for this email, but that gripe is for another post and a saner hour.
